Every bit as imaginative and unique, comic and engaging as his adult books. The Last Dragonslayer is a fantasy novel by Jasper Fforde. She fails at at least one of these. This one started out really, really well — it’s been a few years since my last Jasper Fforde, and it has all his trademark rragonslayer, and is decidedly Pterryish as well. The Last Dragonslayer could have been much better.

Simply put, Jasper Fforde is brilliant. Overall, I thought the book was meant for a bit rdagonslayer than young adult, or at least in the younger area of young adult. If you want to read something quirky, read The Last Dragonslayer. I wasn’t all that thrilled by rragonslayer ending, I thought Jennifer’s ending was quite random.

I want a Quarkbeast. The Last Dragonslayer is a good YA novel with a simplistic plot best suited for younger teens, but a whimsical style and satirical humor that is probably way over their heads. All the books centre around Jennifer Strange, who manages a company of magicians named ‘Kazam’, and her attempts to keep the noble arts ladt the clutches of big business and property tycoons. I was so glad to have a bit of Jasper Ffore to read. And he’s always there for his BFF Jennifer.

Jennifer herself is only 15 16 in two weeksbut is exceptionally mature for her age.
